Q2, Week 6 Critical Reading Passage
If someone had handed me a credit card with a $20,000 limit i would spend it wisely. I would first buy the food needed to last me a month, so my family won't have to spend anymore money and spend it on themselves and what they need. Second, I would buy me some new clothes since most of the clothes that I currently have are old and have faded color. I would then try to buy a car for transportation, since using public transportation has been a hassle for most of my family and would help them out significantly. Though because of the 10% intrest I would by me some good fancy clothes and get a job so by the time the bank would want the money back I would be able to give them back what they want and wouldnt have any hassles or debt or become bankrupt.

Q2, Week 5 - Critical Reading Passage
Cell phones are not safe to use while your driving any type of vehicle. If you use a cell phone while driving a vehicle it may cause accidents, deaths, and serious injuries to people. If may cause these disasters because many people who have used cell phones while driving do not pay attention for a time period. While this time period on the looking to the road, you may not notice that a vehicle is coming from your left or right at a high speed and will be unable to avoid a crash. Another way using a cell phone can cause a disaster is the same as the first one in the beginning, you check your cell phone or receive a call and at those moments you may have been going at a good speed but not noticing the direction in which you are driving and then as a result you crash into another car. I believe that cell phone use while driving a vehicle is not safe at all because it may cause accidents which may cause serious injuries to human beings or even death. BE A SAFE DRIVER!

Q2, Week 4 Critical Reading Passage - Should Human Cloning Be Allowed?
I think it would be good to clone people and not. I have this mix feeling because there are many positive and negatives things if you clone someone. If you clone someone then you may be able to talk to someone about your problems to without having to talk to other people, but the negtive thing is if they talk to just their clone then it would be hard for people to interact in social situations. If parents decided to clone their babys from a famous person then it would be wrong because you wouldnt give the person their own life, just the life you want. If i could clone myself i would but i wouldnt want to control him like my slave, i would like him to have his own life and if he wants to do what i say then it would be fine.

Week 10 Vocab Cloze Reading & Paragraph Practice
The word euthanasia was coined in the 17th century by Francis Bacon who defined it as “an easy, painless, and happy death.” Today, it refers to when a doctor 1) consents to help a critically ill patient commit suicide by injecting him or her with a drug that causes death; critically ill means that they have a disease or illness which will result in death.
Supporters of doctors who assist critically ill patients to die say that people have the right to end their lives in a painless and dignified way. One could say that a person’s right “to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” includes the right to decide to free oneself from a painful disease or illness. Doctors who support euthanasia 2) empahsize that the 3) criteria for 4) consent to help a patient die is that the patient is suffering from a terminal illness, has a poor quality of life, and has made a conscious decision to end his/her life.
Critics of euthanasia say that doctors take an oath to protect patients. Assisting them to end their lives goes against that promise. Opponents also 5) emphasize
the possibility of doctors taking this too far by helping the poor and disabled end their lives. Religious critics say that doctor-assisted suicide goes against God’s will. One of my main reason is that a patient has the right to relief himself of life no matter what circumstances arrive, because he has the right "to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness". This means that if ending his life would give him liberty or happiness then he has the right to end his life as long as he follows the criteria and emphasizes his consent to the doctor to help him do so. Also, if you were in horrible pain and knew you were going to die. Would you keep living and suffer the horrible horrfic pain of the illness/disease you have? I wouldnt i would decide to die and easy death instead of going through so much pain and agony. In conclusive, doctors should be allowed to help critically ill patients commit suicide, because its the patients right to have freedom to chose decisions that would make them liberty or happiness, aslong as the patient emphasizes his consent to the doctor and has it written.

I believe that euthanasia should be an individual right. I believe this because as they said in the report, people have the right “to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." And if the person decides that commiting suicide make them happy and be free from the painfulness or suffering from the deadly disease or illness they have, then they have the right to commit suicide and have doctors help them end their life. Would you rather suffer day by day horrific painful suffering that would make u cry, than being able to just stop it all forever? I would. Though people may decide that euthanasia is something they want to do, I believe it may go too far. This may go too far because people who may be suffering but have a chace of living, would decide to end their life using the euthanasia. Though they would have a chance to live, people would abuse euthanasia and commit suicide just because they are not willing to deal with the suffering and pain for a short while.

Week 4 Vocabulary Paragraph
Many people work in construction because they enjoy hard labor or thats the only thing they can get a job in. In order for construction workers to start a porject, hey must first identify how much space they may need and the soil where they are going to construct is good to construct buildings or whatever project they are planning to build. Though many people think that constructon isnt really that important in daily life, it is actually a very significant job. If we did not have people in construction we may not have all the building we have today.
